NOMINATIONS

The NAACO Board of Directors provides governance and strategic direction of the Association. The structure of the NAACO Board includes five officers: President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and Immediate Past President; four directors serving rotating three-year terms: Director of Communications, Directors of Education, Director of Events, and Director of Membership.

NAACO values and seeks diverse leadership as defined by race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, appearance, professional experience, geographic location, etc. We seek leaders from all types and sizes of eligible post-secondary institutions.

Nominate yourself or an industry colleague to serve as an officer or director on the 2026-2027 board in one of the following vacant positions

  • President
  • President-Elect
  • Director-at-Large, Membership
  • Director-at-Large, Events

NAACO Board members are required to:

  • Commit to a three-year term.
  • Attend monthly virtual board meetings *Board meets in-person twice a year in July and February
  • Attend at least 4 virtual or in-person events each year.

Nominees attest to the above requirements and:

  • Be affiliated with an active NAACO member institution
  • Must complete the full application
  • Must participate in interview
